Agency for Persons with Disabilities
An agency separate from the Department of Children and Families, specifically tasked with serving the needs of Floridians with developmental disabilities. APD works in partnership with local communities and private providers to assist people who have developmental disabilities and their families. APD also provides assistance in identifying the needs of people with developmental disabilities for supports and services.
The Family Cafe
The Family Café exists to provide individuals with disabilities and their families with an opportunity for collaboration, advocacy, friendship and empowerment by serving as a facilitator of communication, a space for dialogue and a source of information

The Arc of Tampa Bay
The AFIRE organization supports and networks with other organizations whose priority is also to support people with disabilities. Some examples are: Provider Fairs, Family Cafe, Family Care Council, ARC of Florida, Florida Unites, AdvocareTrust and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.

Florida Division of Blind Services
Offers a variety of supports for Floridians who have visual impairments including Blind Babies Program, Children’s Program, School-to-work Program, Vocational Rehabilitation Program, Independent Living Services, Rehabilitation Center, Business Enterprises Program.
